The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Benevolent Foundation, Inc. was founded
in 1985 and is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3). An independent Board
of Directors governs the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Benevolent Foundation,
Inc. It is organized and operates exclusively for charitable and/or educational
purposes for the benefit of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

Our mission is to support the University by raising funds that will enhance access to educational excellence and to promote mutually beneficial partnerships.

Official Recognition of Tax Exempt Status
The United States Department of the Treasury recognizes the University of Wisconsin-
Parkside, Benevolent Foundation, Inc. as exempt from Federal Income Tax under
section 501(c)(3) as classified by the Internal Revenue Code with employer
identification number 39-1522072. The State of Wisconsin also recognizes
the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Benevolent Foundation, Inc. as a charitable
organization with identification number 139839, permit number 1544-800. The
State of Wisconsin Sales & Use Tax Certificate of Exempt Status (CES)
number ES 40706 certifies the Foundation as exempt from Sales & Use Tax.
