Fire

• Alert people in the area of the fire and direct them away from danger
• Activate a fire alarm at one of the pull stations, usually located near the exits
• Evacuate the building through the nearest safe exit
• Confine the fire by closing doors as you leave
• Do not use elevators
• Move away from the building
• Call the UW-Parkside Police at 262-595-2911 from a safe location. If outside, use an emergency call box (look for the blue light)
• Do not re-enter the building until authorized emergency personnel give the all clear
