Academic Year Program
Upward Bound is a year round program.   We have an extensive academic year program that will advise, motivate and enrich students throughout the school year. In the fall of the school year, students and Upward Bound staff commit to an Academic Year Agreement which describes the responsibilities of the program and its participants.

Saturday College
During the Academic Year, students have the opportunity to attend workshops on monthly bases. These workshops focus on career exploration, financial literacy, post-secondary expectations, diversity and race relations and much more.  Limited transportation is provided to and from the campus.

Other Academic Year Activities
During the school year, students also take part in college visits, workshops, and various cultural events. Students and parents also receive program newsletters that highlight student achievement and college-related information.
