Welcome to the Upward Bound Program at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside!
It is a privilege to introduce myself as the Director of UW-Parkside Upward Bound Program.   As a former participant and employee who has benefited greatly from Upward Bound and Precollege Programs, I cherish this opportunity as a way to give back to our community.  In my role I look forward to assisting the students, individually and collectively, in their pursuit for a higher education and rewarding careers.
In attesting to my educational credentials, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Parkside graduating with a Bachelors of Art degree in Sociology and Communication with certifications in both Community Based Learning and Conflict Resolution. I also obtained my Masters Degree in Management and Project Management Certification from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Currently, I serve on the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Alumni Association Board of Directors, hence, spearheading the Social Committee.
My passion for helping others especially our youth is the most rewarding aspect while serving in the leadership capacity within the program.  I strongly follow the motto, “Our youth are the future leaders”. Thus is it our responsibility to help guide them through the process of life.  I am happy to assist our Upward Bound students in mapping out a road to success!
