Summer Session

Summer Program
During our six-week summer program, students live on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Their days are packed with challenging courses, creative problem-solving initiatives, group work in communication skills, trips, sports and all types of fun activities.

Academics
Students take six classes each summer in the following areas: mathematics, science, foreign language, composition, literature and electives. At UW-Parkside UB, our classes are small and students get plenty of one-on-one attention. Furthermore, there is a wide range of material. Courses tend to be hands-on, meaning that students learn through interacting concretely and creatively with the material. Furthermore, UB courses are designed to inspire excitement about academics and to give students a head start on their upcoming academics.

Residential Life
The summer program gives students a taste of what it's like to live in a residence hall, have a roommate and attend classes in university buildings. UB students eat at the Brickstone Grill and Eatery, (a UW-Parkside dining facility), where the food is excellent, varied, and nutritious. On occasion, we have special theme-based dinners, and picnics during the summer.
