Presentation Formats

Poster Presentation: Posters can be a maximum of 46"wide and 46" long. It is strictly a poster presentation; no exhibits, models, tables or computers may be used with the poster. Presenters will be expected to be available to discuss their posters at the assigned times. Posters can only be attached to the display boards by push pins. We will have push pins available, but please feel free to bring your own.

Oral Presentation: Presentations are scheduled for a maximum of 15 minutes, including a question-and-answer period. Sessions will be moderated and the time limit enforced. All PowerPoint presentations must be on a computer CD. All computers will be equipped with CD drives and USB ports for Flash drives, but we will not guarantee availability of disk drives or zip drives. All rooms will be equipped with a computer (with CD drive), projector, and screen. If additional equipment is needed, please indicate this when you submit your abstract or contact Rosann Weber (email, weberr@uwp.edu; phone, 262-595-2184).

Artistic Performance: Performances include literary readings, theatre, music or dance must be original, or interpretation/research based on an existing work. Performances may be solo or ensemble. A maximum of 30 minutes would allotted for each performance, including a question-and-answer period. If additional equipment or space is needed, please indicate this when you submit your abstract or contact Rosann Weber (email, weberr@uwp.edu; phone, 262-595-2184).

Gallery Exhibit: All forms of visual art, including original painting, sculpture, photography, prints, textile arts, drawings, pottery, metal, etc., will be considered for acceptance as gallery exhibits. When registering and submitting abstract, please indicate special equipment and space needs (amount in square feet) or contact Rosann Weber (email, weberr@uwp.edu; phone, 262-595-2184). Exhibit set-up will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, or from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. on Friday, April 27. Presenters will be expected to be available to discuss their exhibit at the assigned times.
