The University of Wisconsin Parkside currently has a University Services Associate 2 (Working Title: Administrative Assistant) vacancy in the Center for Community Partnerships (CCP).

This is a classified, full-time, non-represented position open to current and former state employees eligible to transfer/voluntarily demote/reinstate to this vacancy.

Job Duties: Under general supervision of the Executive Director and Assistant Director for the Center for Community Partnerships, this position is responsible for performing a broad spectrum of administrative support duties, including coordinating calendars, scheduling appointments and meetings, screening an d creating correspondence, preparing reports, developing systems to create efficiencies, and front desk reception; Division operations and logistics, including training student workers and scheduling, and on-boarding; Participation in division wide projects and event participation, including supporting the registration system, and monitoring project and timelines using Microsoft PROJECT. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Successful candidates must have the ability to type, have excellent written and oral communication skills, remain confidential about all aspects of work, effectively prioritize multiple requests, work independently, have excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office), and effectively multi-task with frequent interruptions. Must be able to work professionally in a diverse work environment, and be proficient in or able to learn Microsoft PROJECT and other software, such as registration software.

Salary: Pay schedule and Range 02-10. Pay will be based on the rules that apply to compensation upon transfer, reinstatement or voluntary demotion transactions. Pay will not be less than the minimum of the pay range, $14.250/hour. A six month permissive probation period may be required.
