Parkside is fortunate enough to have multiple art galleries to show off amazing work and here is a sneak peek at what to look for next. The newest exhibit that is being installed is called Androgyny: An Exhibition by Lois Bielefeld. Bielefeld, currently a Museum of Wisconsin Art Artist-in-Residence, is a professional photographer from Milwaukee who has worked for companies such as Kohl's department store and Time Magazine.

The goal of this exhibit is to challenge the social constructs of what people are supposed to look like and celebrate gender fluidity and expression. Lois Bielefeld explores the complexity and power of gender identity through a series of portraits and films.

The gallery will be open to the public from Nov. 1 through Jan. 10 with the opening reception on Nov. 6 from 4-8:30 p.m.
