Fay Akindes, Communication Associate Professor, presented "Service-Learning Project: #ItsYourChoice" at High Impact Practices for All Students, a Faculty Development Conference at UW-Green Bay, on January 21, 2015. #ItsYourChoice is a campaign conceptualized and implemented by Communication majors in Comm 435/Integrated Marketing Communication in Fall 2014. The community-based learning partner was The Hope Council on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse in Kenosha directed by Guida Brown. Students conceptualized, wrote, and performed in a YouTube video and visited three Kenosha high schools to provide alcohol and other drug prevention information.
