Parkside students learn about the dangers of drunk driving

Parkside students learn about the many dangers of drunk driving. Several nursing students in uniform provided surprising facts and statistics that shocked everyone passing by.

They provided a great interactive simulation to prove to students that driving under the influence is never okay. Students were encouraged to try on a pair of goggles that impaired their vision in the same way that alcohol does. They were then asked to try walking a straight line and catching a ball while wearing the goggles and the results were very amusing. After trying this, students agreed that there was no possible way that driving under the influence would ever be acceptable.
