Technology Help Desk


Scheduled Network Outage 

CTS is planning a complete network outage on Monday, September 22nd for the purpose of transitioning to the new high-capacity UW System Network. The cut-over will position our network to be ahead of future capacity demands and is a critical component in the ongoing campus backbone network upgrade. The network outage will begin at 9 p.m. Monday evening and end at 10 p.m.

The Help Desk is the technology support center for the University of Wisconsin Parkside students, faculty and staff.

Contact the Help Desk when you need help with any campus technology-related issue:

  • Tracking your help request
    The Help Desk uses special software “FootPrints” to track technology-related problems and issues. When you call the Help Desk, staff members will ask for your UW Parkside ID so they can track the incident and respond to you using your campus contact information.
  • You will receive an e-mail confirmation when the Help Desk creates a ticket for an unresolved technology issue and also when your incident is officially closed.
