What is one characteristic you think a leader should possess?

I have learned that being a leader is not always about leading people, but a leader should know when to step back and listen to others. The best leader is more of a facilitator who can take a group of people with very different ideas and help them reach a common goal.

What is the most rewarding aspect of being involved as a student leader?

Knowing that you have a hand in empowering and inspiring someone, and passing them your knowledge and experience to make a positive difference on our campus and local community.

How do you plans on using your leadership skills in the future?

Beyond UW-Parkside, I look forward to attending medical school and carrying my passion for social justice into my career as a physician and serving as a leader for social justice in healthcare and beyond!
