Ford at Convocation: Let us challenge ourselves
Galleries welcome African art, African artist
African art from the collection of a local enthusiast and art from a native who creates, among other things, “belly bowls” and “gut balls.” The exhibition begins at the in mid-January at UW-Parkside.
“Third Friday” hosted by Art Department Jan. 20
The first Friday of January has come and gone (so has the second) but there will be a gathering of faculty and staff Jan. 20 to celebrate the new semester and the new art classrooms and galleries.
Noteworthy: Miss America mentors
Kenosha’s Laura Kaeppeler was planning to attend Friday’s mentoring conference. Then she was crowned Miss America 2012 and her plans had to change. However, the conference will go on as scheduled.
Colors of the Day: Studying on 1st Day of Classes
Today’s colors: Snow or no snow, spring semester (and spring semester studying) goes on.
