The College of Business, Economics, and Computing (CBEC) gave me so many opportunities to develop professionally.  The CBEC outreach internship helped me to organize the knowledge I have learned about my major.  With teamwork, a group of nine students developed a program that was presented to over 600 high school students in the southeast Wisconsin area. The Executive-in-Residence program was another program that I looked forward to every semester. It offered me the opportunity to learn from business leaders and provided guidance to prepare my future career.  The real-world experiences of the business leaders supported learning acquired through class lectures, discussions and group projects.  I felt honored to shake hands with of Thomas A. Burke, President and CEO of Modine Manufacturing in Racine, WI!  In my classes, I worked hard to excel academically and always felt that my professors respected my background and culture by using business examples of China in their lectures and discussion. I am grateful to the UW Parkside CBEC program for the education and personal/professional opportunities I received which will make a big difference in my future.
