The College of Business, Economics, and Computing (CBEC) has successfully prepared me for my future.  Each and every class that I have taken here at the University of Wisconsin Parkside, has systematically provided me with the essential tools, knowledge and skills that future employers demand.  Each year reinforces the previous and I found this to be most valuable to my personal development.  The atmosphere in the College of Business, Economics, and Computing affords small class sizes, teachers knowing you by first name basis, and one-on-one relationships with professors and faculty which has allowed me to expand as an individual.  CBEC has given me internship opportunities that not only challenge my abilities but also enhance interpersonal skills.  When I first attended the University of Wisconsin Parkside, I was the shy girl who preferred to stay out of the spot light and did not want to be noticed.  However through encouragement and professional opportunities, I have fully developed into the capable woman that I am, ready to meet the business world.  I am very proud to say that I obtained my degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin Parkside because the hands-on knowledge that was provided to me nurtured and strengthened my confidence so that I can now meet any challenge that I may face.  I know that I can successfully compete in the competitive, business world of today.
