My name is Alma C Lomeli I am 24 years old, married with a 16 month old toddler. I currently attend UW-Parkside. My major is General business, and I will hopefully graduate in 2013. I work for QPS Employment Group as a data processor; I have been employed at QPS for 5 years. The challenges I meet every day help me gain experience for my major.

 My story with UW-Parkside started last summer, all thanks to a great man Neil Slough he is a current professor and advisor at MATC. He is the one who directed my path to UW-Parkside. If it was not for him I would not be here today. Due to his encouragement I am studying to reach my business goal. Neil and I visited UW-Parkside for the first time this past fall 2011. I had privilege to meet an energetic, honest and great human being, who made me feel as soon as I walked into the University. Her name is Trudy Biehn. Trudy dispelled all my doubts. Her positive influence helped me start my path to success. UW-Parkside is helping me to attain, develop, and shape new skills, by providing the necessary tools needed to succeed in life. The satisfaction and happiness I get from being a student at this great University is just priceless. UW-Parkside is not just my present, it will be my past, and my future.
