­My Story:  I was an International Student from Beijing Information Science and Technology University (BISTU)

Why did you come back to UW-Parkside from China?

­UW-Parkside makes a difference in my life. Attending UW-Parkside has inspired me with confidence to study, learn well, and work hard.  As a result, I'm getting great grades and feel my knowledge accumulating. I am finding many opportunities from Parkside and around Parkside. I am full of confidence to build my career or further my education after I graduate from Parkside.

Second, the faculties and staff are helping me to complete my academic life successfully. I am not afraid of facing problems, because I can always get help or good suggestions from everyone of Parkside, especially my advisors. 

Last but not the least; I am making many good friends here who give me a colorful life. Parkside student organizations' doors are always open for me. I am welcomed by every Parkside organization and the students there. 

Parkside is like my second family in the U.S., so how could I make a decision not to come back?!  

What do you like about Parkside?

I like Parkside because it is a stage where I have chances to play a leading role if I would want. I can study very hard and have excellent grades. I can join in on many activities to make my school life colorful and become a popular student with many friends.

­I can also find a job or internship from Parkside, earn money and gain experience for my future career.
