Career Position: Accounting Administrator at Racine Community Foundation, Inc.
What role did the College of Business, Economics, and Computing play in your success?
The UW-Parkside's College of Business, Economics, and Computing changed my career goals. Since my first day at Parkside, I am not the same person; I reevaluated my values and goals. At Parkside, I not only earned my degree, but I have gotten guidelines and preparation for a business setting. The commitment and passion of faculty at CBEC was outstanding, at each class I learned much more than the required material, I learned how to deal with many situations in my professional and individual life. The faculties are very understanding and I always had the feeling that my instructors cared for all students. I owe so much to the College of Business, Economics, and Computing. For me, it is a place that opened my eyes for the opportunity to do what I want to do and be whoever I want to be. It is especially important for me, who came from another country and started a new life in the USA. With my fundamentals from UW-Parkside, I really feel that I can succeed in my career and life. The quality of education I received here is excellent. It helped me with my CPA examination. My first day at UW-Parkside started a new chapter in my life, a chapter of a successful future.
