What role did the College of Business, Economics, and Computing play in your success?

       The College of Business, Economics, and Computing has played a vital role in my current employment as well as career opportunities that would have never been possible elsewhere. The faculty and staff within the College of Business, Economics, and Computing have been extremely helpful in not only guiding my career development, but spending their quality time to ensure I am on track to succeed.

        Dr. Peter Knight, my adviser and marketing professor, has made such a lasting impact on my future through creating the opportunity for myself and others to compete at national sales competitions throughout the year. These competitions have multiple employers recruiting for entry level sales positions around the globe, and they provide the opportunity to have these employers emailing/calling daily to schedule interviews to become a part of their organizations. To have employers fighting over you in an economy like this is unbelievable.

        Through the advice and coaching of Dr. Knight, my ability to place 2nd overall from roughly 60 of the top sales students in the nation has set an extremely successful tone for my young career. I currently have 2 of the 4 AAA rated organizations in the country calling/emailing me for interviews. It is a true honor to be a student of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside College of Business, Economics, and Computing.
