Brittany Beyer

Brittany Beyer, Management Information Systems, is the Great Lakes Valley Conference women's basketball Player of the Week. Beyer averaged 21.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in victories at St. Joseph's College Thursday, Feb. 16, and Saturday, Feb. 18, against Indianapolis at the De Simone Gymnasium. She recorded a game-high 20 points in the Rangers 70-59 victory over St. Joe's while collecting five rebounds. She was even more dominant Saturday in the Rangers' 72-65 win over Indy scoring a game-high 23 points and four rebounds. Saturday's win allowed UW-Parkside to clinch at least a share of the GLVC Eastern Division title. Beyer, along with fellow seniors Jadee Rooney, Amy Selk, and Kaitlyn Bettiga, play their final regular season home game Thursday against Lewis University starting at 5:30 p.m. at the De Simone Gymnasium. A win gives UW-Parkside the undisputed Eastern Division title.
