Don Cress

Don Cress, Dean Emeritus of Arts and Sciences, is a member of the Kenosha Public Library's BIG READ committee, which works with area organizations, agencies, schools, artists and writers to promote reading throughout Kenosha County, and, especially, a county-wide reading of Jorge F. Hernandez's collection of short stories titled "Sun, Stone, and Shadows: 20 Great Mexican Short Stories." In addition to a reception at UW-Parkside last week, Hernandez attended the BIG READ kick-off at Mahone Middle School and several other local events. This is the second time the Kenosha Public Library has received a BIG READ grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
