Don Cress

Don Cress, Emeritus Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, serves as keynote speaker for the 12th annual UW System Symposium for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity, here at UW-Parkside. While dean, Don was a strong advocate of undergraduate research and creative activities. During his first year, he established the Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program (Urap); through this program, over $100,000 was awarded to students pursuing formal undergraduate research projects.
