Joseph Foy
Joseph Foy, Assistant Professor of Politics, Philosophy, and Law, presented two talks at the Southeast Wisconsin Festival of Books held Saturday, June 16, 2012, at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha. Foy addressed "Rights, Ethics, and the Bellum Universale of the Arena: Thomas Hobbes, Immanuel Kant and 'The Hunger Games'" and "SpongeBob SquarePants and Philosophy: 'Learn to be a Sponge'" during separate programs. He was also a featured guest on a panel discussing censorship titled "Challenged Books & Censored Authors." More information on both talks is available on the web site.
