Vera Kolb

Vera Kolb, Professor of Chemistry, presented an invited lecture titled "Greening of the Chemistry Curriculum and Making it Artsy Too," at the Biennial Conference on Chemical Education 2012 (BCCE 12), at the National Science Foundation's Chemistry Collaborations, Workshops and Communities of Scholars Symposium. Held July 28-Aug. 2, at Penn State University, Prof. Kolb reported on the curricular changes she has introduced in her classes as a result of her participation in the NSF workshops on Green Chemistry in 2009 and 2011, on the Chemistry of Art in 2010, and on the Advanced Chemistry of Art earlier this year.
