Psychology professor presentations begin Monday
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Psychology Department welcomes the first of three finalists for the Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychology position beginning Monday, Jan. 23. Presentations follow Jan. 27 and Feb. 1.
Monday, Jan 23, Dr. Steve Davis speaks on "Evaluating the assumptions behind traditional clinical psychology: Limitations imposed by the medical model."
Friday, Jan 27, Dr. Aaron Carlstrom is on campus to address "Cognitive-behavioral therapies and anxiety associated with work transitions."
Then on Wednesday, Feb. 1, Dr. Daun Kihslinger speaks about "TBD."
Psychology Professor and Department Chair Dr. Sylvia Beyer said all three presentations take place at noon in room D139 of Molinaro Hall and are open to the public.
