UW-Parkside “Wargamers” want your pens for charity
The Parkside Association of Wargamers (PAW) and Student Relations are holding a collection drive to aid the Child's Play Charity. And all they are asking from you is...your pens.
Child's Play Charity provides gifts to terminally ill children in hospitals. For each pen, highlighter, marker, mechanical pencil, or Sharpie PAW turns in, Child's Play gets two cents. The pens can be new, used, dried up, damaged?any kind of pen will do.
The collection goes on throughout the spring semester. You can find the boxes near the library, outside the bookstore, next to the box office of the Rita Tallent Picken Regional Center for Arts and Humanities, and at the Don Quixote statute on the D Level of Molinaro Hall. The boxes are clearly marked for the PAW Pen Charity.
More information on the Child's Play Charity is available on the internet.
