Online seminar: Eating to improve heart health

Everybody wants a healthy heart and the UW-Parkside Human Resources Department wants you to know about an upcoming online seminar that can help you eat your way to better health. The Source4Women seminar "You are what you eat:

Eating to improve your heart health" is Tuesday, Feb. 14 and you can participate free.

"Occasionally, I receive news about these great online seminar's from United Health Care," said Payroll and Benefits Specialist Roxane Kriederman. "This would be great health information for employees" to have.

Kriederman said UW-Parkside employees must register to get the link for the seminar.

During the program, Kathleen Zelman (MPH, RD) provides simple, effective diet strategies that can lower the risk for heart disease and improve health. Discover how the healthiest diets on the planet—from DASH to Mediterranean lifestyles—can improve heart health and longevity.

The seminar begins at 11:30 a.m. To register, visit www.source4women.com and click on "online seminars." All seminars are recorded and archived for viewing after the live seminar date.
