University of Wisconsin-Parkside Chancellor Debbie Ford made the following announcement today, Wednesday, Feb. 22:
I am pleased to announce that Mr. John Jaraczewski has accepted our offer to become the new Assistant Chancellor for University Relations and Advancement. Mr. Jaraczewski brings a wealth of experience and proven success in line with the responsibilities of this position, and he is enthusiastic about joining our UW-Parkside team. He comes to us from United Stationers, Inc. where he served as the first Executive Director of their charitable foundation. Prior to that, he served as Manager of Community Relations and Manager, Global Citizenship and Policy and Abbott Fund, with Abbott Laboratories. John has a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison, and he and his family reside in our local community.
I wish to thank search committee chair, Randy McCready, and the search committee members for their outstanding work in conducting this successful search.
John is scheduled to begin his appointment on March 19, and we are now in the process of coordinating his start-up orientation schedule. His office will be located in Wyllie Hall, room 344, and his phone number will be 262-595-2591.
Please join me in welcoming John to our campus on March 19.
