Colors of the Day: Veterans Book Project opens

The highly anticipated Veterans Book Project exhibition opened at UW-Parkside Wednesday. Brought to campus by art gallery director and curator Patricia Briggs, the book art show was a collaboration between local military vets and people who close connection with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and artist Monica Haller. Haller was on campus for the opening. Here she is pictured, left, talking with UW-Parkside's Dean Yohnk while Professor Sandy Moats reads one of the project's books. The exhibition is open through May 12 in the UW-Parkside Foundation Gallery.
