Election Day 2012 in Wisconsin, at UW-Parkside

The cars started pulling into the parking lot of the Petretti Fieldhouse at the Sports and Activity Center early this morning. Many of the drivers were not there to workout but they did exercise; exercise their right to vote, that is.

UW-Parkside students also have the opportunity to engage in a bit of civic exercise during the next two days. Student Government Advisor Sarah Raidbard said elections for Parkside Student Government (PSG) take place today, Tuesday, April 3, and tomorrow, Wednesday, April 4, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Molinaro Concourse.

Faculty and staff are asked to encourage all students to vote.

Foy on Wisconsin Public Radio Wednesday

Today's statewide voting, especially the Wisconsin Republican primary, will have a UW-Parkside flavor. That's because our Political Science colleague Joe Foy will be commenting on the voting during Wisconsin Public Radio's "Joy Cardin Show" Wednesday from 6-7 a.m. You can hear Joe live on WHAD, 90.7 on the FM dial, or at http://wpr.org/cardin/ on the Internet.
