Finance and Administration Update

Alan Russell, interim vice chancellor, has completed his assignment at UW-Parkside.

The search and screen committee for the position of Vice Chancellor of Finance and Administration will be reconvened by committee chair Dr. Norm Cloutier. The committee is planning to conduct telephone interviews with top candidates. In addition, the university will re-advertise the position and add any qualified individuals that may be available.

During the transition, Catherine Jameson and Scott Menke will serve as leaders for finance and business services. Their current focus is completing UW System requirements for the fiscal 2013 budget process. Don Kolbe and Jim Heller will serve as leaders for facilities and administrative issues.

In a statement to campus, Chancellor Deborah Ford noted her appreciation for the efforts of all faculty and staff working to fulfill the mission of the university.
