VBP opening in Racine, continues to April 28

The Racine Art Council's ArtSpace Gallery is the latest southeastern Wisconsin venue to display the Veterans Book Project (VBP). Gallery staff, University of Wisconsin-Parkside student intern Katy Petro, and Art Department Program Assistant Glen Larsoninstalled the VBP in the RAC gallery at 316 6th St. in Downtown Racine.

The exhibition celebrates its opening reception today, Friday, April 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. during Racine's First Friday promotion. The exhibition continues through April 28.

"Katy has project managed the RAC exhibition and has done a wonderful job," said UW-Parkside Gallery Director and Curator Patricia Briggs. "Please attend the opening reception tonight at RAC, just a few doors away from RAM [Racine Art Museum]."  

ArtSpace gallery hours are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday noon to 4 p.m.
