Tell your students about: Senior Send Off

Senior Send Off Wednesday & Thursday SC Bridge.

Senior Send Off, a two-day event that brings together many of the university departments and services students nearing graduate need, takes place this week on the Student Center Bridge. Students planning to graduate in May 2012 can avail themselves of this one-stop opportunity Wednesday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursday, April 12, 4 to 6 p.m.

During Senior Send Off, students can meet with department representatives who can help them navigate the graduation process. This includes:

• Discussing career opportunities and graduate schools;
• Signing up for resume, cover letter, and interviewing workshops with the Academic Advising and Career Center;
• Checking SOLAR for balances and holds with the Cashier;
• Reviewing their DARS and confirming degree requirements have been met with the Registrar's Office and much more.

Financial Aid, the Alumni Association, the bookstore, and Educators Credit Union are there as is Central Valley Studios. The photographer will provide a free cap and gown portrait sitting and free online proofs to students.

Don't let your students miss Senior Send Off April 11, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and April 12, 4-6 p.m. on the Student Center Bridge.
