“Get Behind the Arts” Tour Sunday
There is one UW-Parkside faculty member--Lisa Bigalke--and one emeritus faculty member--Doug DeVinny--involved in this Sunday's "Get Behind the Arts" Tour. There is also at least an alumna involved. Here's what you'll see on the tour:
Lisa Bigalke, Art Lecturer, opens the Rudbeckla Press, located at 7205 26th Avenue in Kenosha, during the Sunday, April 15 event. This self-guided tour of artists' studios runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Doug DeVinny, Emeritus Professor of Art, opens his studio during the tour which covers both Kenosha and Racine. Doug's studio is located at 1219 Valley View Drive in Racine.
Black Eyed Press, owned by UW-Parkside graduate Samira Gdisis, is also part of the tour. The BEP is located at 312 Sixth St. in Racine.
