University of Wisconsin-Parkside students, faculty, and staff can catch the final five performances of the Parkside Theatre/Milwaukee Chamber Theatre production of "Bus Stop" and pay half of what other theatre goers pay! And it so easy: just enter the discount code "UWP50" when ordering your tickets by phone at 414-291-7800 or when you visit www.milwaukeechambertheatre.com online.

"Bus Stop" has gotten rave reviews from the Milwaukee media. Check out Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Online, Milwaukee Magazine's Inside Milwaukee.com, OnMilwaukee.com, Shepherd Express, Third Coast Digest, and the PS Performing Arts blog to see what we mean.

Theatre Arts Professor Jamie Cheatham, who plays the degenerate professor Dr. Lyman, said: "Our professional collaboration with Chamber Theatre is a big deal! It will showcase the talents of this department, and this university, in a downtown Milwaukee venue. It will also give those students involved a solid professional credit on their resumes!"

On stage with Jamie are UW-Parkside students Annie Walaszek as Cherie, a nightclub singer; Ethan Hall as Bo, the lovestruck cowboy; Brenna Kempf as Elma, the naive young waitress, and five professional actors.

Behind the scenes, our colleague Lisa Kornetsky is directing the play, Keith Harris designed the amazing set, Skelly Warren handled lighting, and Misti Bradford designed costumes. Student designers are Abbie Miller, props; and Kara Foster, makeup/hair; graduate Phil Wooding designed the sound. Alecia Annacchino and Bobby Johnson are the assistant directors with Tiffany Lutz and Madelyn Wakley the assistant stage managers.

Performances begin tonight, Thursday, April 26, at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday 4 and 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. And that's it! See "Bus Stop" this week and see it for half price!
