Students Dunn and Forster to study in Toronto

Through the Biological Sciences Department's connections with Dr. Jeffery Medin, a pair of University of Wisconsin-Parkside students are going to Toronto for some hands-on research work this summer. Dr. Medin, a University of Toronto researcher and UW-Parkside graduate (Biological Sciences, '85), will have Christopher Dunn and Jessa Forster, both Biological Sciences majors, assisting him in the laboratory, according to Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences Dr. Traci Lee. Dr. Medin's laboratory does basic research in the area of immunotherapy for cancer and gene therapy for Fabry Disease.
