Colors of the Day: A musical weekend

Tuning up for Saturday's state competition at UW-P.

Things got a bit crowded in the music wing Saturday.

Starting with Thursday's concert by the UW-Parkside Wind Ensemble and Community Band, UW-Parkside was Music Central this weekend. Following Friday's Arts Alive! Concert by Barrage, thousands of student musicians gathered at the campus for Saturday's Wisconsin School Music Association State Music Festival. That event was followed by a pair of Sunday concerts in the Frances Bedford Concert Hall. Check Tuesday's Ranger Today for more.
