First-ever I.D.E.A. Champions selected

Meet out IDEA Leadership Champions! |
What do Rita Altmeyer, Kathryn Evans, DJ Evans, DJ Polzin, and Michele Gee have in common? They are among the 30 people selected for the Rangers in Action: Inclusiveness, Diversity, Equity, and Accountability (IDEA) Leadership Champion Award.
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Inclusive Excellence Committee selected them for the new diversity award to honor their work to create a comfortable, supportive campus environment for all students.
UW-Parkside students, faculty and staff were eligible to be nominated.
The 2012 I.D.E.A. Champions are Altmeyer, Consuelo Clemens, Tiera Coleman, Kathryn Evans, Damian Evans, Lizz Garcia, Dr. Gee, Karen Grabher, Ana Guerriero, Jim Heller, Justin Irwin, Laura Khoury, James Kinchen, Renee Kirby, Don Lintner, Katie Lohre, Autumn Marzette-Bell, Barbara Mayer, Abbie McMillan, Stefanie Molinaro, Sabrina Morgan, Florine Ndakuya, D'Angela Nickerson, Margaret Piery, Polzin, Cedric Ray Jr., James Robinson, Monica Scholle, and Linda Vang.
Award recipients will have their pictures featured on the Office of Diversity and Inclusion webpage and on posters around campus. A reception is also planned in their honor.
Inclusive Excellence is designed to connect inclusiveness, diversity, equity, and accountability (IDEA) in every aspect of campus life.
