Unclassified Leave Balance

For Unclassified Staff:

All unused vacationcarryover, personal holiday, and floating holiday will be lost if it is not used by the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 2012).

All unused vacation (vacation earned in the current fiscal year, July 1, 2011, to June 30, 2012) will be converted to vacation carryover at the start of the new fiscal year (July 1, 2012, to June 30, 2013).

To determine how much floating holiday you have remaining, please go to My UW Portal to review your legal holiday balance. Take this number and subtract 8 hours to determine your floating holiday. The reason you subtract 8 hours is because the Memorial Day holiday has not yet been processed.

If the legal holiday balance in your portal is currently 24, you have 16 hours of floating holiday.
