"I would hire anyone from the UW-Parkside program." During a teacher-preparation community update, University of Wisconsin-Parkside Provost Terry Brown said that a statement like in five years from area prinicipals would be a measurement of success for the university's new Teacher Preparation Program.
"The building of a new teacher-preparation program is part of a larger initiative of academic planning and curricular change," Brown said. "Through a faculty-led process, we have created a forward-looking academic plan that reassesses our curriculum to be sure that we are meeting the needs of today's students and the region."
Video links to each segment of the program, including the question-and-answer session, are below. The community event was held Wednesday, May 30, and hosted by The Johnson Foundation at Wingspread.
