Green Initiative at Milwaukee County Zoo

Steve Basty and Alyssa Kay at Party for the Planet

Early in 2012, the University of Wisconsin-Parkside partnered with the Milwaukee County Zoo, and the zoo's Green Initiative.

Recently, the zoo hosted Party for the Planet. More than 12,000 people attended the weekend event featuring information and demonstrations on a number of green projects.

Steve Basty, Sam Pierce and Mirella Rivera from UW-Parkside Admissions represented the university, along with students Alyssa Kay, Debbie Hickey, and Ricky Wynn.
