“Fun-filled, interactive” Convocation with HLC

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside fall semester convocation on Thursday, Aug. 30, at 8:30 a.m. will be a fun-filled, interactive event! In addition to celebrating our 11 exemplary faculty and staff award winners and the introduction of new colleagues, the breakfast program will include a discussion and an update on our accreditation process, communication, and self-study. 

The university is making great progress toward the upcoming visit by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), due in large measure to the work of criterion chairs Terry Brown, Renee' Kirby, Jeffrey Alexander, Lori Allen, Theresa Castor, and Dirk Baldwin.  The planned activities will provide answers to many of your questions and give you an opportunity to have some fun--yes, we did state that an accreditation event will be fun!

So, mark your calendar for Thursday, Aug. 30, at 8:30 a.m. Then join us in the Student Center Ballroom to learn more, engage, and see how you will be a part of this important project which culminates with a visit by our Evaluation Team April 29 to May 1, 2013.
