Back-to-school is around the corner and now is the time to get trained to be a mentor!
Join Mentor Kenosha/Racine for a free "Introduction to Mentoring" training class offered twice on Wednesday, Aug. 15, at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, 900 Wood Rd. in Kenosha. With morning and afternoon sessions available, this is a great opportunity for new mentors to learn to build relationships with their mentees. Mentoring expert Crista Kruse will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.
But let's say you've already been a mentor for a while. This workshop is also a great refresher course!
Mentor KR is offering the two-hour workshop twice to accommodate busy schedules. The morning session is 9 to 11 a.m. and the afternoon class is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. And it's free!
