UW-Parkside Alumni Night at the Raiders Aug. 25

UW-Parkside Alumni at Racine Raiders Aug. 25.

Mark this date on your calendar: Saturday, Aug. 25. That's the date of the first-ever UW-Parkside Alumni Night at the Racine Raiders. And UW-Parkside alumni get in free!

Kicking-off at 7 p.m. at historic Horlick Field, located at 1648 N. Memorial Dr. in Racine, the Raiders take on the Indiana Generals in a Mid-States Football League game. The Raiders are 5-1 through Aug. 4, and this is the final regular season home game of the year.

UW-Parkside Alumni Association President Jim Kramer said this game could be the start of something big.

"This is an opportunity to build another tradition [while] supporting a community mainstay that has been part of Racine since 1953," Kramer said. "It is also a great way to meet other alums!"
