News & Notes: Daphne Pham, Patrick McGuire

Daphne Pham, Professor of Biological Sciences, had the paper titled "Impact of Multiple Prenatal Risk Factors on Newborn Iron Status at Delivery" accepted for publication in the Journal Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.

Patrick McGuire, Senior English Lecturer, will have his play "As We Forgive, A Drama in Three Acts" read during the opening weekend of the 2012-2013 FreshINK staged reading series. Described as a "challenging play," the story involves a Catholic priest who is confronted with shifting ideas and modern thinking, ideas and thinking that go against his own beliefs and those of the church. Held in Studio A of the Rita Tallent Picken Regional Center for Arts and Humanities, "As We Forgive" is presented Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Admission is free.
