HLC Co-Chairs “shocked!”…But “Hopeful” on comments

When Ranger Today's investigative team spoke candidly with Rob Barber and Kim Kelley, the co-chairs for the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) process, they expressed their surprise and said they were "shocked!" and in "stunned disbelief" at the lack of comments on the self-study draft. 

"We need their input," Barber growled, "but we also understand how busy everyone is." 

Kelley echoed Barber's sentiment, "It's tough. We are all busier than a one-armed paper hanger with hives! But it's really important to comment on the self-study. We're just like ZZ Top: we're not asking for much, just a few minutes to give us your perspective."

After humming several bars from the overture to "Pirates of Penzance" for no apparent reason, Barber and Kelley said, in a voice that begged for boldface type and underlining, there are A Variety of Ways You Can Provide Your Feedback
