The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Foundation Board recently welcomed four new community members. Alumni Greg Anderegg and Richard Caskey join Kimberly Kane and Joel Beck on the board.

A 1977 Interdisciplinary Studies graduate, Anderegg is director of Global Community Affairs at SC Johnson. He is responsible for SC Johnson's strategic global community engagement initiatives.  He works closely with global business leaders to set strategy at the local and regional levels. He also manages a U.S. team responsible for execution of local and national community affairs efforts. He currently serves on the boards of the All Saints Health Care Foundation, Next Generation Now, RAMAC, and Frank Lloyd Wright in Wisconsin.

A UW-Parkside MBA graduate, Rich Caskey retired as president of merchandising at Snap-On Tools. His previous company titles included vice president marketing and vice president and general manager Power Tools. An active alumnus, he is a member of the Graduate Business School Alumni Association and a College of Business, Economics, and Computing Advisory Board member which he joined in 1988 and led for three years as chair. He received the Alumni Association Distinguished Achievement Award in 1998. He is a past member of Sales and Marketing Executives, Racine/Kenosha.

Kimberly Kane is president of K2 Communication Strategies and co-founder of mediaspirits video production and development. An award-winning journalist whose stories have aired in cities across the nation, Kane is a member of UW Milwaukee's College of Health Sciences Advisory Board. She holds leadership positions in TEMPO Milwaukee and TEMPO Racine, organizations that seek to further the impact of women leaders in the community. Kane is a 1993 graduate of the University of Southern California. She lives in Racine with her four children.

Joel Beck is vice president and branch manager of Robert W. Baird & Company's Racine office, bringing a "genuine passion for creating great outcomes in clients' lives and a deep desire to help them achieve the financial goals they want for themselves and the people they care about," he stated. A 1990 graduate of UW-Madison, Beck holds a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He also serves on the board and the Investment Committee of Society's Assets, an independent living center for seniors and those with disabilities.

They join a Foundation Board headed by President Christian Lie and current members Peter Barca, Raymond J. Camosy, Roger Caron, Elynor Chemerow, Gary Groenke, Neil Guttormsen, Michael Haubrich, John Knuteson, Scott Larsen, Timothy Mahone, Gary Meier, JoAnn Murtha, Thomas Nelson, Howard Olson, Rita Petretti, Vincent Ruffolo, Heidi Skatrud, James Spielmann, George Stinson, Carmelo Tenuta, Robert Toeppe, and Dr. Joan Wilk.
