Brewers' exec. Kathy Schwab here Thursday.

The Parkside American Marketing Association (PAMA) presents Milwaukee Brewers' executive Kathy Schwab Thursday, Oct. 25, in the Student Center Cinema. Schwab is the Senior Director of Marketing for Milwaukee's Major League Baseball team. She speaks at 11 a.m. about "Marketing an Unpredictable Season" in the Student Center Cinema. Admission is free.

Despite playing in baseball's smallest market and despite the loss of slugging star Prince Fielder to free agency, the Brewers attracted more than 2.8 million fans to Miller Park in 2012, the league's 10th highest percentage for seating capacity. Those percentages were better than both Los Angeles teams, better than the New York Mets, and over 850,000 fans better than the Chicago White Sox.

Schwab talks about the marketing strategies that made these remarkable numbers possible and how game-day management is as important to the people running the stadium as it is to the players and coaches on the field. Learn the secrets!

"Marketing an Unpredictable Season" with Milwaukee Brewers marketing chief Kathy Schwab is free and open to the public. Her appearance is sponsored by PAMA and the UW-Parkside Student Organizations Council.
