39th UW-Parkside Arts and Crafts Fair Dec. 1. |
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Arts & Crafts Fair, a favorite southeastern Wisconsin holiday tradition for nearly four decades, is Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, on the campus at 900 Wood Rd. in Kenosha. The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Main Place of Wyllie Hall and along the university's Main Concourse. Admission is free.
The fair features nearly 200 talented artisans and crafters from throughout the Midwest. It's a one-stop opportunity to find unique, hand-crafted gift and keepsake-quality items.
An artisan raffle and silent auction are held throughout the day and concessions are available. A free shuttle serves shoppers from the campus parking lots to the main complex. Coat and package check are available.
All proceeds from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Arts & Crafts Fair benefit the Student Leadership Scholarship Fund.
