Cross Country Tallies Two All-American Awards Saturday

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside men's and women's cross country squads each sent a representative to the NCAA Division II Championships Saturday in Joplin, Mo. Both Evan Lewandowski and Jessica Watychowicz surged to the front of the pack to collect All-American accolades. Lakers Knock Out Rangers in Sweet 16

Something had to give on Friday night as regional powerhouses the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and Grand Valley State University met on the soccer pitch at Allendale, Michigan, in the third round of the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship. The third-ranked Lakers utilized a pair of first half goals to emerge with the 2-0 victory, extending their unbeaten run to 51 games at the GVSU Soccer Field. The game capped off the stellar careers for seniors Crystal Chalery, Brynn Darga, Alex Hauser,Madison Pickett, Lauki'i Cheng, and Megan Owens. Greyhounds Sprint Past Rangers 3-0
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside's four match win streak came to an untimely end Friday night in the quarterfinals of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship Tournament. The Ranger fell 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-14) to 19th-ranked University of Indianapolis in a rubber match inside the Indy South Sports Academy in Indianapolis.
